What
We Do

Here at Agents of Change, we seek to diversify our community effort in as many specific ways as possible. Each year, students gather to create mission projects meaningful to them.

Current Projects

We are proud of our service work over the past four years. From bringing STEM into under-resourced areas, to increasing literacy rates in Fremont schools, Agents of Change has left an impact on the district. Numbers don't lie, and with around 200 members and 1400 volunteers in the past, our organization has truly involved students with the community around them.

Mental Health

Teen Panel

Partnering with Maitri, a local non-profit that addresses mental wellness within the South Asian community, AoC is co-hosting a virtual mental health teen panel in which students can share their experiences with peer pressure, body image, the stigma surrounding mental health, and toxic masculinity.

STEM Classes

AoC has partnered with AlgoSTEM, a student-run non-profit dedicated to providing students with access to competitive computer science and math education, to bring virtual STEM classes to individuals in our community. Hundreds of students, including UT Austin students and a UT Austin Professor, have utilized this new opportunity.

Public Speaking Seminars

Through our collaboration with Project Make a Statement, an international non-profit that educates youth about public speaking, we are working to co-host seminars and classes that allow students to gain confidence while developing their public speaking skills.

Virtual Animal Visits

AoC will be working with Animal Assisted Happiness, a non-profit that enriches the lives of youth with special needs through animal interactions, to offer virtual animal visits to hospitalized children during these tough times. We hope to bring smiles to these childrens' faces!
